Looking for a working unit for a 94 W124. I do not need the mast if you want to keep it as a spare, I just need the internals to rebuild. Will consider anything that you have.
 
Louis, if you only want the internals, this is for the original antennas with internal circuit board - correct?

The later replacements have an external, replaceable circuit board box. I don't think many parts interchange, especially the electricals.

Yes this is the the type with a motor, and a circuit board. But TBH, Will take anything that works and If you want to keep the mast, that is ok as I have a spare for it. Here is a pic of the unit.

I believe the pre-facelift antennae used with the BE1432 are different than the later cars with the BE1492.
 
The antennas have a model year + VIN break. All 400E/500E use a threaded-top antenna. This changed to a ball-top antenna in mid-1994 USA model year, with VIN break. The grommets and some mounting hardware are not interchangeable. The change was not pre/post facelift though, and not related to the 1432/1492 systems either.
 
The vin of the car is WDBEA34E3RC071472. I have the factory original, but the unit is not in my hands to look at p/n. I will see if any of my pictures have it and report back to this thread.
 
That chassis, C071472, is before the EPC break point of C083748. So if original, that E420 should have the early-style antenna with threaded top. And per your photos, 124-820-69-75 is the threaded-top design.

The EPC shows this being replaced by the later ball-top antenna with the associated mounting bits, however it sounds like you are trying to fix or replace the original, not convert to the newer version.
