I stored mine on November 28th in a distant garage and life just hasn't been the same since. I'm coping hard until April comes around.
The roads here in Toronto, Canada are way over-salted and even on the dry days the salt dust will get in everywhere and destroy everything.

Hi all, i am new to this forum, just by way of intro, i own and cherish my 1992 W124 500E.
I will only get to drive the car 1 month a year, which brings me sadness every time, its due to overseas working requirements.
Can someone share whats the best storing tips are. The car will be in a secure location semi covered.
Any insights very much appreciated. Tks

There are a couple of older threads about storage, click the links below.

TL;DR: Air up the tires (or mount spare/junk wheels/tires for storage so you don't flat-spot Michelin Pilots), keep a top-quality battery maintainer connected (PulseTech or BatteryMinder are my faves), add fuel stabilizer & drive long enough to circulate it through the fuel system. Then do no start the engine until it will be driven again. If rodents are a concern, take additional precautions. If indoors you can use a cover as well.

BTW - welcome to the forum!
