I dont want mine polished, I want the whole wheel powder coated. Usually the lip is machined.

Will powder coating the lips mess with the fitment of the face to the barrel?

These are the two piece amb wheels frol a sl600. There seems to be a decent gap around the face. It doesnt touch the barrel. I would think it can acomodate a layer of powdercoat no?

I want the complete qheel to me fa tory silver instead of ha ing machined polished shiny lips

The original machined finish still had a clear coat over the bare aluminum, so no different than a powder coat layer

True and mine were chrome before being stripped which means they had three layers. Chrome usually has copper brass and a layer of chrome.

Are you planning on doing this soon? Can you post pics?

Coincidentally, I have a pair of 2PC and it appears we're in exactly the same place in the thought process. I'm not pressed for time, and certainly would be nice to see what this looks like.
