Anyone using RDB Auto Care products?

Anyone here using RDB Autocare products buy chance?

Just happened to stumble across the "review" from Car and Driver: https://cardetailreviews.com/

Designed as a wax replacement, RDB CERAMIC DETAILER blew us away in terms of effectiveness and was our favorite by far. It was fantastic at giving that slick hydrophobic surface. RDB Ceramic Detailer was also much easier to apply than traditional waxes and spray detailers; just spray on and work into the surface. Allow the product to cure properly, up to 6 hours for a full cure and approx 30 minutes in-between applications. Unlike the competitors RDB Ceramic Detailer won't just "wash off"!

In addition, it gave lasting protection to our car’s coat (we’re on month 3 and it continues to repel water like crazy). RDB Auto Care Ceramic Detailer also has a
20% SI02 formula, unlike the competitors who are at around ~3%.

We highly recommend RDB not only based on their performance but also the pricing, we've noticed it's the best bang for your buck when it comes to Ceramic Detailers.

I do like the 20% content and <24 curing time, price point inf purchased in quantity is about $20 per bottle. I just want to make sure that that it offers a deep shine. Absolutely no affiliation RDBCeramicDetailer

In the recent times, there are so many products and companies been popping up, we all have our favorites, my brother sticks by the Chemicalguys (He does detailing on the side...) I've used and liked Sonax before. But I want to try this particular product.

So, anyone with RDB?

D

Interesting how Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions didn't make the Car and Driver "list", but it bested the competition in Project Farmer's test:

That being said, I'm pretty happy with the Turtle Wax, and it's $15 a bottle on Amazon or at your local Wally Mart

Dave, you asked me about the 303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating the other day. I looked it up and did some research.

Quite honestly, I can't find anything that made it stand out over other, similar products. That's not to say it's bad - it's not from what I can see. However, so many vendors are hawking their ceramic/graphene/nano whatever coatings it's tough to compare them fairly without actually trying the stuff and seeing how it holds up.

I need to go back and look to see if any of these products protect from UV. I say that because where I'm at most of the year, UV is the killer for auto finishes.

Personally, I like waxing my cars every 3-4 months. It gives me a close up look at the car and forces me to notice stuff I might not otherwise see on a day to day basis. It's like my preference to wash a car by hand before I buy it - doing this will force you to notice things you would otherwise miss with a casual once-over.

Thanks, Dan! I agree about the UV protection. I try to keep my cars garaged for that reason. UV kills interiors too. I'd like a longer-lasting protection without the $$$$ ceramic-in-a tiny-vial magic potions. $20 for a spray-on, wipe-off product is more my style. None of my cars have paint worthy of $2k professional correction + ceramic coating procedures. I might give both a try (Aaron's turtles and 303's graphene).

Interesting product, a quote from their hands on

"The gloss and clarity of the clearcoat is as good as it gets. So whatever VooDoo Juice is inside the bottle of 303 Graphene Nano Coating - it's some good darn good juice."

And the price point is certainly on par with my comfort zone! I was hoping for a bit easier application method than the once of this 303, nevertheless, worth trying for sure!

D

I think any demonstration of the comparative qualities of these products has to be taken with a grain of salt.
Here's a Youtube comparing the results of these two products under their description of duress...

Graphene is a really interesting product, especially for the potential use in batteries.
As far as paint protection, I guess time will tell...
