MBtex, Napa and standard leather don't smell the same to me. :)

Why does my dealer have nearly a whole wall in the swag area of the parts department committed to air fresheners and related junk? I've never felt the need for an air freshener in any car I've owned. This is a true puzzlement to me. They must sell the stuff or it wouldn't be out there....

Indeed. Unless you use the floorboard for long term pizza storage, I’m not certain why you would ever need any sort of air freshener beyond occasionally lowering the windows.

Lots of folk are pigs in cars. I appraise trade ins and often won't, or can't step foot in them. Imagine a console dripping in sauce of unknown age and you get the picture.

Thank you for sharing S500E :-)

PS: My car's interior is in very good condition, doesn't stink... just that it lost the smell of leather being a '91
