Not sure how you guys will recieve my car, though I always felt that the world was lacking a 2 door version E500E; so I had one created. My car doesn't have a V8 engine as I didn't want the extra wieght up front, though I will be having a twin turbo conversion installed on the 3.2 straight six 24v, so power will be on par with the M119. I have owned 500e's in the past & plan on finding another keeper soon. I just needed to get this out of my system! The entire process is documented on the benzworld site, should you have interest - just search widebody coupe in the W124 forum...

Hey, I just noticed your mirrors. Is that a RHD driver-side mirror on your passenger door? Were you able to get the mirror to angle in enough to make it usable?

Your car is stunning. What is the color? Is it a MB color? I have always liked the coupes, almost bought a 124 coupe before I found my 500E.

Actually no, not yet.... This will be a project in the spring when the coupe surfaces from it's heated lair, along with the twin turbo conversion and a couple of interior upgrades.
The color is a modified MB color called Azurite blue, though I always disliked the slight purple haze that you would see in certain light conditions. I had the pink pearl & pearl quantities of paint taken out & a little more black & metallic blue added in. Mike at Motorwerks who did all of the bodywork & paint (save for the metal) is a true artist & I owe him a great deal of respect for the care he put into this project.
Here's a picture of the interior - as you will notice, I replaced the coupe's seats with e500 items (not a simple swap...!!)
Thanks for the interest & positive comments.
