PSA:
NAPA has 20% off online orders over $125. You must pay online and either have the item shipped to home OR pick up in store, but you cannot pay in store. Sale ends 6/30. Discount shows in the cart.
This drops the Made in USA (East Penn) Group 49 AGM battery from $215 down to $172, plus $18 core charged during checkout. You get the $18 core credit when you turn in the core - bring it with you to the store if possible:

The WalMart nEverStart AGM 49/H8 is slightly cheaper at $169 with $5 core (may vary by state). This battery is currently made in Mexico or South Korea (thanks for the info, @speedy300dturbo!), is not always available locally, or at least most WalMarts near me don't stock it. And, it doesn't go on sale:
Robot or human?
My daily driver E420 had a 9-year old DuraLast Gold wet/flooded H8 battery that had been getting a little weak for the last couple of years, but was still working ok... until yesterday, when it shorted a cell under load and would no longer crank the engine. 9 years is still awfully impressive though! Load test six months ago was down to 360A, a fresh/new battery is usually 420-450A on my carbon-pile load tester.
