Hi,

Yes, I have them both, although I am not sure if I am using them or not. I believe the amps are being bypassed now from the new Kenwood head unit that was installed, and wiring is going direct to the speakers. Want me to check, assuming you'd be interested in them?

Here is a pic of the amps that I just took. Also, why do I have an E50 gas tank?

If egreaves decides to keep his amps, I have some available for the buyer of the head unit.

My gas tank also has that "E50" sticker.

It is likely that the E50 designation was just a short-hand for E500/500E models, to delineate them at a glance from run-of-the-mill 124s.

I am not talking about the two amps in the trunk, mounted under the c-pillar. With the BE 1432, I am talking about the second half of the head unit, which is also mounted in the trunk. In addition to the two amps, all BE 1432 units had two distinct pieces -- the head unit, and the tuner/amp pack in the trunk.

Yes, that is extremely likely to be the code. It's very common for mechanics to just write the code on the label on top of the unit. There are web sites out there that you can also input the serial number to get the correct code, and you can also call Becker and they'll give it to you.

Cheers,
Gerry
