Burnt rotor arm

Guys. Having a issue with misfire and rotor arms.

Replaced rotor arm and distro cap on Left side. Ran fine for a few kms then started pulsing, very soon after would not take any throttle and was no power - acted like in a limp mode

Pulled off the distro cap and found the new rotor arm had burnt at one of the screw holes

Replaced both rotor arms. Started perfect, idle perfect, quickly started pulsing at around 80kmph. And shortly thereafter again not taking throttle, no power and again misfiring

This time the new rotor arm on the right cylinder bank has burnt - in exactly the same way as the other one did. The left side is perfect.

Rotor arms and cap are Bremi. Photo of the second burnt one attached

Any ideas what could be causing this?

This might not be what you want to believe but -----

Maybe it is best not to use Bremi. Use Mercedes caps/rotors, or you can use BERU EVL183 rotors, which are excellent quality. Note - do NOT use BERU EVL1381 rotors, which are orange colored.

Are you in the US? Your avatar shows you are writing from the UAE (VPN?) but if you are writing from the USA, you can buy BERU EVL183 from Napa Auto Parts.

Yeah I get you. Another brand is on its way to try them out in place of these

I am Based on dubai so everything is a long wait

Thank you

Just so I am clear, I have the old style rotor bracket - not the completely flat bottomed one - this is fine for all these rotors, correct?

And on that note
