Camshaft timing actuator help

Hello all
Today i noticed a knocking noise from the right bank of my m119 engine in idle,
I scanned the LH by star and found the following error:
024 camshaft timing actuator 1 y49/2
I need help to identify if this code refers to the camshaft magnet or something else?
Thanks in advance

The symbols after the fault code are indicating an electrical fault, either open or short circuit. Check the wire harness, connector, and measure the resistance of the magnet coil.

You can also do an "activation" of each solenoid separately via HHT-Win.

Thank you gsxr
Do you mean that its an electrical fault not mechanical fault?
Its weird that im hearing the knocking noise from the right bank , i think the noise related to that error?
Whats is the correct resistanse for the magnet coil?
Thank you again

Yes, at least that is what HHT-Win is reporting as the fault stored on the LH module. After checking/correcting electrical issues, try the activation test on both left & right magnet coils.

This is possible, although I'm a little confused why you would be hearing a noise - there normally shouldn't be any.

Compare to the opposite side (with wires disconnected). I don't know the exact resistance but I expect it would be low, i.e. single digit ohms?
