Hello, I have changed the ignition cable holder and when I did that I had to remove the fuel rail and now when trying to put it back together again I can't get the injectors with the O-ring back into the fuel rail. Has anyone done this and know a good way?

I've only pulled rails out, parting cars. Never reinstalled, however the o rings can be very tight. I would guess some proper lubrication on the o rings is the answer. I'm sure someone here knows what lubrication to use that will not damage or affect the o rings. The original o rings may have swelled and replacement may be necessary?

Late to the party here, but the factory docs mention oiling the O-rings. Not sure I'd use engine oil, but any rubber-safe lubricant should be acceptable. With lube on the O-rings, the injectors should push easily into the fuel rail. Clean the manifold bores and add a bit of lube on the lower O-rings as well.
