No affiliation. The want is high, and I bet the reserve is even higher. Note the aux high-beam (NOT FOG!) lights are NLA from MB, so cover those puppies with Lamin-X immediately. If you have 036 headlights you need to use the C36 bumper fogs with the brackets from the aux high-beams, unfortunately one side of the C36 fogs are also NLA, and used ones are almost always junk.

Note that back in 2008 you could buy the three B6- accessory packages for ~$3k USD MSRP, total.

Authentic W124 AMG Gen 2 Full Body Kit

New, Never Installed, Purchased by the Seller from MB in 2008

This rare authentic AMG body kit was manufactured for the W124 E-Class sedan and remains new in-box. The package includes a complete set of NOS (New Old Stock) parts that are no longer produced by AMG. All parts are new examples that have never been fitted, or used. The set includes a Gen 2 AMG front bumper, rear bumper, bumper support, both side skirts, jack covers, front bumper tow hook cover, both fog auxiliary high-beam lamps with brackets, lamp harnesses, an AMG badge, two bags of hardware and two trim pieces. The original boxes for the bumpers and side skirts were lost during the seller’s move to Texas, but the original box for the fog lamp kit remains intact. This rare set of W124 AMG parts are now being offered by the seller in Round Rock, Texas with the original boxes for the fog lamps and part number labels.
The set includes a Gen 2 AMG front bumper, rear bumper, bumper support, left side skirt, right side skirt, jack covers, front bumper tow hook cover, left and right fog auxiliary high-beam lights with brackets, lamp harnesses, an AMG badge, two bags of hardware and two trim pieces. The totality of the package is complete enough to execute a full Gen 2 AMG bodykit upgrade on a W124 Sedan.
The specific parts and part numbers included in the package are as follows:
  • HWA 124 885 01 25 - Front Bumper
  • HWA 124 885 02 25 - Rear Bumper
  • HWA 124 885 01 37 - Bumper Support
  • HWA 124 698 01 54 - Side Skirt – Left
  • HWA 124 698 02 54 - Side Skirt – Right

  • Bag of Hardware - Rivets/Ties/Bolts/Washers
  • Bag of Nylon Spacers/Screws
  • 124 698 08 30 - Trim Piece
  • 124 698 07 30 - Trim Piece
These rare parts are extremely difficult to locate individually and are rarely found in “new” or "new in box" condition, let alone as a complete set. The bumpers and skirts are finished in their original black primer from the factory.
Each part retains its original OEM AMG Part number affixed via a sticker to the box or plastic packaging as seen in the gallery below. Original HWA part number stampings are also seen on each kit piece.
The MB Market Insights
Following the sale of our E500/500E widebody fender set, this new old stock (NOS) W124 AMG Gen2 body kit is just what the doctor ordered for your W124. Never installed or fitted, this kit is about as rare as they come in this condition. Sure you could probably buy a busted set needing repair from someone who may or may not be real… but this one is new, real and in the great state of Texas. This AMG kit transforms any pedestrian W124 into a statement making icon, not to mention increases the value of any car tremendously. Borrowing from the same menacing design queues made popular in Miami Vice, this mid-merger AMG kit is authentic down to the HWA part numbers, trim pieces, and fog auxiliary high-beam lights. The opporunity [sic] to purchase new old stock kits like this has become nearly impossible, so don't miss your opportunity to score big with this AMG kit today!

FWIW, this does not fit the 036 without extensive modification. I have seen it done though, but its not a simple bolt on process. A friend of mine bought one of the last, if not the last complete set for use on his 300TE/500TE project.

Correct. This does NOT easily bolt on to the 036 without modification of probably every piece. I don't know if cutting is required to fit an 036, but I suspect it is... unlikely to stretch 2+ inches without warping something in the process. That's why it's posted in the 034 classifieds sub-forum, btw.

I spoke with one person who installed one of these body kits on a 500E. From what I was told, it involved heating and stretching the kit to fit. Since it is more or less plastic, it seems feasible that this would work. I recall something about using a huge heat box (whatever that is) to heat up/soften the bumpers for fitting. Could of just been a large box, large enough to hold a bumper with a hole cut in one side for attachment of a heat gun that heats up the interior.

Someone else tried the same process on one of the copies, of course it did not work due to the material being fiberglass.

Good info! I was wondering it heat might work. But... whoooo, don't screw it up!! Might not be fixable, and sure ain't replaceable (today).

Like any plastic, you don't want to heat it up to melting. Localizing heating to specific areas to "flex" the part so it fits is probably what is needed, but heating up the entire bumper so the entire structure is flexible may help avoid any type of creasing or cracking. Personally, I would want to experiment with something not quite as expensive first to know how much heat to apply and how much flexing is possible without damage. Most of these 500E's with AMG body kits came from AMG of Japan, so they probably have done many.
