I finally got around to (try to) renew the brake fluid on the 036 myself last night, and read up on this how-to first. Weirdly I also had a really hard time loosening the SP-valve, even though I opened it without any problems last year (and bled fluid from it). When I finally got it open (had to carefully removed the blue protective cap to fit proper tools on there), there was no fluid coming out of it - no pressure, no nothing! I have a current ASR-fault which I am hoping to clear after renewing the brake fluid, but now I’m starting to wonder if the system has been bled wrong somewhen in the past which is causing it (or has damaged the pressure valve of the ASR-system)..

Due to unforeseen issues (dinner) I wasn’t able to finish the job yesterday evening, but will keep searching for causes today. I can activate the pre charge pump manually using HHT-WIN, and will try to do so today and see if there is any fluid coming out of the SP-valve when doing so.

I have noticed recent non-English posts from you, but have not said anything until now, because I see it becoming a pattern. Especially because, you speak quite good English.

Perhaps being a little nicer could be more constructive, as in "I'm sorry about that -- I forgot about the policy, and I'll post in English going forward."

I realize you don't like me, and haven't for a long time, but that's YOUR problem, not mine. I have no problem with you, and I will not censor what you say here on the forum, even your attitude and insults toward me. You don't have to come here, if you don't like the policies in place.

I'm just asking you, politely, to follow a policy that we've had on this forum since November of 2008.

Well......If anyone has anything against anyone..it is actually you seemingly having something againts me. All the way back since my post about " the hierarchy stuff" , you have had this non spoken issue with me,and i might be wrong,but to me it is pretty obvious.You have never commented on,or shown interest in anything i have ever contributed with in here,so that speaks tons,when i have indeed been here,and posted regularly for 11 years+,as you know i actually have the second? most viewed Owners thread on here,which is crazy.
BUT, i dont have anything against you really, but i do take it to heart that you seem " the way you seems like" .But, Enough about that.
I would however throw the " how about beeing a little nicer" straight back to you,because there are tons of ways you couldve told me, than just pop out of the woodwork and give me a " this is your only and final warning"...
I will of course however write english on here, its just sometimes when i answer my fellow norwegians,it just slips out,writing in Norwegian, especially since i am so active on other platforms aswell,speaking Norwegian.
When that said, i really thought most of you Muricans, understood Norwegian by now

There are well over 200 threads here on the forum that I have not kept up with. Honestly, I don't have the time to follow everyone's stuff. I am running two separate forums -- this one and 126board, with all of their associated posts, PMs and so forth.

Here on my profile you can see four full screens of unread threads/posts. I am not even very good at keeping up with PMs and such.



In other words, it's nothing personal .

And while it's not a dislike of you personally, I will say that my interest in your threads and content became dramatically reduced when you deleted all of your videos some years back. It placed a lot of posts with your good and informative content, in a place where there was a big hole in them or a blank black screen.

You had your own reasons for doing that (it doesn't matter to me why), but it also made a very lasting impression on me that any future content could also be subject to being removed suddenly if you decided to. And as in life, if you think something has a significant chance of going away, perhaps you lose some interest in it. And the worst thing that can happen to a forum, is good quality information being lost, or removed.

The only thing I have actively hated on over the years is Benzworld.org. But that's a poorly run & moderated forum, not a person.

Oh yeah, and Üro parts and their ilk, too. Again though, not an individual person.

@gerryvz - I was super disappointed that lowman deleted all his posts / content a while ago …. If I recall correctly that was during some bad stage of life (I think we’ve all been there) and he deleted all his super valuable youtube stuff too. I believe @Lowman has expressed regrets (sheepishly?) for doing so ….

Anyways, just wanted to pop in and say I appreciate both of you. Thank you.
