Hello Gents and @gsxr

My buddy has a close buddy in Europe with a mint w210 E50 AMG and it was crashed. Only 72k km on the odometer.

He told me his friend removed all the parts that he could.

E50 M119 Engine in perfect shape the car was rear ended, side impact hit.

His friend will sell to me for about $2,000 USD and sea freight shipping is about $900. Is this a good deal in our opinion?
will include ECU, wiring harness, all associated parts. Im trying to get him to also include the 722.627 transmission...

Thank you for any opinions and feedback.

Sorry to hear of the loss! Engine price sounds reasonable to me - but the wildcard is tariffs.

No need for any wiring harnesses unless you want to retrofit everything into a 124 including the ME 1.0 ECU, which will also require a bunch of other parts... IRCL / DAS module, key fobs, instrument cluster, ABS/ASR/ESP hydraulic unit, and other computer modules... maybe the transmission too.

appreciate it @gsxr
Yes. I kinda think its a fair price for such a low mileage engine.
And yes...VERY SAD. another w210 e50 AMG gone.
Total production was 2800+ or so. I estimate at most 50% remain or 1,400 or so remain in decent road worthy shape...
Probably less than 300 in GREAT MINT CONDITION...

abd dont forgot this time.w210 was realy down. And e50? what this ? a car? e55 most knowing but e50 was to this time a normal used car with v8.not more.
and that was a big Problem inkl. Corrosion

Sad news about the car!

I think $2900 shipped is a decent price for a known good 119.980.

He wouldnt happen to have kept the air intake hoses would he?

Hoping to find a set (or at least the left side), my left hose and scoop was accidently thrown out when I was doing some diagnostics on the AC compressor many years ago.

I put off sourcing them and now that I got around to it I see they are impossible to find.

I missed the last set in Japan, still kicking myself for that.

Hello yao500e,

Yes, the left and right front tubes, between the airbox and the left and right sides of the radiator.

They are part numbers:
HWA 119 094 01 82 for the right side.
HWA 119 094 02 82 for the left side.

Here are some pics from the auction I missed just recently:

Oh, and I do also need the scoop attached to the left side of the radiator shroud that the left front tube tube attaches to, encircled in the diagram below. Unfortunately, no part number or actual picture for this, it doesnt show on the online EPC's I have access to:

At your convenience please, dont want to be a bother, thank you!
