E500E M119 supercharger option, EATON

Performance looks outstanding but I don’t think it’s going to do much for your E500E’s appearance with a hole cut in the hood.
Absolutely agree! haha it looks like only a centrifugal supercharger will work and fit properly for e500e's.

The M113-style supercharger can work, I think a couple people have done this... but it requires a ton of custom fabrication (as does any supercharger for the M119).

Bigger problem is were to fit a proper-sized cooling fan with an extra belt added to drive the supercharger, as this occupies the space where the fan normally goes. Super-thin fans will not move enough air, especially once power levels increase to the 400-500hp range.

I actually did some research on superchargers for older engines such as M119 and M104.

The easiest and lowest cost way is a conservative powerdyne centrifugal supercharger. installed with usual basic parts required.

No ECU tune is required.
No intercooler is required.

Install a mechanical FMU such as Vortech FMU to increase fuel pressure as air pressure increases. Probably max is 10 psi.

Max HP gains is probably 35hp to 50hp range. Its modest but definitely can feel it.

My friend mechanic has already done this supercharger setup on his w124 e320 and another guy did this on a swapped M104 3.6 in a w201.

works well. a nice little boost. relatively low cost and easy install.
