WANTED Euro Headlight lenses

I am looking for the following for my pre facelift 500E

Option 1, the original Euro lenses for the 500E

Option 2, the Euro lenses for the W124.

If anyone knows the respective part numbers for each for my search, those would be greatly appreciated.

I am curious to know if the standard W124 Euro lenses are still available and what the cost is.

If you cannot obtain them new, I have a very nice used set.

Dave. My Bosch lenses show part no.s 1 305 621 037 and 1 305 621 036 for right and left respectively. are these the numbers in question from your list or could they possibly be left hand traffic? The fluting seems to indicate right hand traffic.

Drew, those are for right-hand traffic (USA/Germany), and appear to be for early 124 Bosch Euro headlights. Some place called Blue Ridge MB has a pair of complete headlights for sale with those lenses (link).

The left pre-facelift standard Euro Hella lenses may be available new (003-826-11-90) but the right side (003-826-12-90)may be NLA. Might still find some NOS on a shelf but supplies may be dwindling.

Any idea what the difference is between the pre and post 90 M.Y. Euro lenses? I've been running these same lights in my daily 036 for some time with the shields removed from the main beams. I realize this Lense does not allow true pencil beams however I find the lighting satisfactory, which is why I never installed the proper 036 lenses I'm hoarding.

Great question. I am not certain why the MB part numbers changed between 1985-89 (MOPF0) and 1990-93 (MOPF1).

Maybe @Klink knows?

Just found some 000-820-08-66 and 08-820-09-66 lenses. Are these the correct right hand traffic for driving here in the US?

Yes - those are for standard 124 headlights, and are correct for right-hand-traffic (USA).

NOS ‘94-‘95 W24 Euro left lens (124-820-51-66/Bosch 1 305 621 804)
Perfect, packed in 000 820 12 66 (‘90-‘93 Euro 500E lens) original box…
