Ever wondered why higher end exotics are never driven?

Checking out an Aston Martin forum, there appears to be zero responses to 99% technical questions over the past 9 months. I now understand why all of these high end cars (other than Porsche) come up for sale with under 1000 miles / year. Nobody seems to want to look under the hood.
