Do you think this fiber glass bumper and the paint will survive 30 min drive to exhaust shop? Got my Lorinser kit installed but my old positioning of the tips was wrong so I had to cut them off to fit.
How much gap is there between the end of the pipe and the inside face of the bumper? Could you temp fix some shielding to divert the exhaust on the LH pipe downwards?
I think I would try to temporarily attach a short length of tube that will route the hot exhaust gases away (down or to the side) from that length of bumper. And insulate/isolate the tube from the bumper with a thick piece of cloth/blanket.
Personally, If you can’t move it over, I would have it towed. I think as it sets now it will distort or actually melt the bumper. Finding a replacement bumper cover is unlikely.
@TerryA -- that is an excellent suggestion. Actually, what I would probably do. Just use your AAA membership (if you have AAA) to do a free tow via them).
