Front bumper woes

Not dead yet… just been busy and hence the hiatus.
Anyways, got two questions:

1) Car is officially 30 years old and got the collector plate from state. And, that means no more front plates. Any recos to make the front bumper easier on eyes? Pics attached.

2) SO clipped the driver side front bumper. Is it repairable or do I need to find a new impact strip? AFAIK bumper parts are NLA… so am I SOL? Open to any China suggestions too..

Thank you very much

Any good body repair shop should be able to cope with that. I sustained similar damage to the bumper corner of my 500E (in an unintended collision with the corner of a wall), and had it repaired by my local "go to" place for such things, I.e. not an insurance repair shop, but one which knows about reconstruction rather than replacement.

This link might make you feel less despondent!?

Did you happen to get the piece you broke?
The corner piece that broke shattered into many small pieces. At first I collected them to see if they can be glued in but too many small bits.
I’ll ask around the areas to see if any shop wants to tackle the job. If not, will try to DIY as suggested by other replies.

Thx!
