FS: 1993 320TE AMG wagon from Japan, BaT auction (Seattle, WA)

Beautiful for sure, but I don’t see anything near 70k for what looks to be mostly an appearance package?

Just my 2 cents.
I agree. Beautiful car, super rare Sportline rear wagon seats, but otherwise just an AMG body kit and aftermarket lowering springs. Stock engine, stock brakes, likely stock suspension/swaybars other than the Eibach springs. I kinda suspect RNM but we find out in 3 days.

:watchdrama:

No way 70k for something like this. It is a AMG of Japan built car, but just not enough AMG parts to pull big money. Its a fairly nicely optioned wagon with a AMG body kit, cluster and wheels only. At the current price, its already on the high side.

The verbiage, "AMG Style Body Kit" used multiple times in the listing would be of concern to me if I was bidding on this car. That phrase tells me its not an authentic AMG kit, but rather a replica. The body kit may be authentic, but I would exercise due diligence and verify that aspect of the vehicle.

S124 wagons have been selling for silly money lately - look at recent sales on BaHaT. This one would need an AMG engine (3.6L) and suspension to get anywhere near a $70k price though, IMO. But, all you need are two uninformed buyers to bid it up to the clouds.

:cloud9:

Id love a W124 in my stable. Aesthetically, this one looks great. Especially the front seats, which to me look like 500E seats. Would be a great candidate for a turbo kit lol
They are 500E seats... the Sportline sedan/wagon seats are identical to 036, but seat heating [in North America] was optional in Sportline models, while standard in 036.

Maybe only in th US? Otherwise an option, as was leather, sliding roof and automatic airconditioner :very_drunk:
Yes - seat heating was standard on all North American spec 036, along with the Sound System, sliding rood, ACC, leather, rear sunshade, rear reading lamps, and some other goodies that were optional in other countries.
