I like it. Cool stereo system too. Shame it's non-ASR, and with all that work they used a 1992 engine with manual belt tensioner. I like the interior except for the light-color maple wood... not my taste. Same problem with many W211's though.

Exactly. Note the wood B-pillar bottom trim too! Apparently there is such a thing as too much wood, at least in Japan.

Almost every AMG Japan car goes insane with wood. It's their thing, I guess.

Does that smooth airbox cover and the smooth intake zoom tubes, make for a slipperier air pathway, helping V-MAX speeds and acceleration?
