I have a very clean 1994 Mercedes e500 race car. This car was built by porsche and Mercedes. Each car was hand built and has traveled from Mercedes to porsche factory 19 time in the parses.

The car runs fantastic. It is a clean ca title 2 owners
Just got new front shocks, brakes and wheel bearings.

The car is super fast and handles better then a 1999 porsche 911. I have cause I have one.

I am open to part trade up or Down. I am asking $14,900 o.b.o

This car is worth every cent. Again there only 500 cars out there so act fast.

Re: FS: 1994 E500, Black/Gray, 157kmi, $15k (San Diego, CA)

Thank you Dave-I spoke to the owner by phone and he stated that he was the 3rd owner, the car had been involved in a minor accident in the rear prior to his ownership, he had the car completely repainted using Mercedes paint, he had front shocks and bushings replaced, new front brakes, and that he only has the service records for the repairs he has made.

Those Mercedes star front plate dealies are sure popular. Don't care for the look myself.

In California you need to have a front license plate. It looks like
the plastic piece that goes around the bottom of the drivers seat is broken.

Looks like this one may be for sale again by the new owner? Would need VIN to confirm, but the color/miles/location/grille all match...

Mercedes E500 1994! Rare! - $10500 (San Diego)

Odometer: 163726

This is a rare E500, only 1,735 ever produced. Its a 5.0 L M119 V8 engine. Already considered a classic, even within Mercedes Benz.

The 500 E was created in close cooperation with Porsche; each 500 E was hand-built by Porsche, being transported back and forth between the Mercedes, taking a full 18 days to complete each model.

Mechanically everything is great, runs like it did brand new. Just replaced the rear accumulators, comes with a brand new set of tires waiting to go on. Also has both brand new front strut assembly.

It has a few cosmetic things wrong, for example the sun shade on the rear window currently is not working and a small area of chipped paint on the left side.

Anyone looking into this car already knows what they're getting out of this car. It's a great car, I don't want to sell it but I'm moving to the cold and don't want to take a beauty like this! Not looking to make a profit, just asking what its worth!

Contact me if you have any questions or would like to see more pictures.

Does anyone know if it has a clean title, being it was in an accident and repainted?
The CL ad claims a clean title. At that price, it's a good deal even if it has a salvage title, accident history, and repaint!!

:hornets:

Word on the street is the car has been sold. Anyone here the new owner? Sauceman? 400Eric? Glen?

:124:

Nobody feel bad. I personally know of the guy who sold it to "AJ"

If its too good to be true, it is.

The car was originally impounded when some one was forclosed on and evicted. The person who impounded it is the one who had it resprayed and sold to the last known owner. He kept it for nearly a year I believe.

There were lots of underlying issues as confessed to me by this guy and he was "amazed" anyone bought it.

Why the four thousand dollar price drop? I think AJ was in the hole.
