1995 Mercedes E420 - $250 (Eastern Henrico)

Car runs and is drive-able until it reaches operation temperature and then it looses power and misfires and eventually stalls. Heater core needs replacing (requires dashboard removal). Other than the issues mentioned car is in good shape mechanically the 8 cylinder engine is strong and smooth but the car will require a little work. Please note in pictures that someone backed into driver side door.
Wires and plugs, filters, brakes, tires, battery, have all been replaced with limited use along with a new fuel pump (can provide list of replaced parts). Thanks...

Yep any Mercedes at $250 is a win! It will yield much more than that in parts alone. If I was in USA I’d buy that at the drop of a hat

Assuming the stated information is accurate (misfire when warm), I'd strongly suspect something in the secondary ignition parts (cap, rotor, insulator, wires, plugs, coils).

Maybe, but my M119 experience has been that when an EZL acts up it's pretty much all or nothing. Or half. I've seen them only fire on four of eight, which can really be puzzling. I would go with gsxr on this - it's probably a secondary issue of some sort - they're far more prone to be intermittent or temperature/condition sensitive.

I love me some spruce.

Funny that green seems to be coming back into fashion. The most recent model years of GTIs being a case in point. Shame they didn’t include pictures of the driver side door damage. I’m convinced the running issues could be remedied fairly easily.
