Heads Up to G Fans,

If anybody is interested. Especially in SoCal there is a 73 Black G Wagon for sale at Mercedes Benz of South Bay, Torrance, CA.

I know nothing about G Wagons and have not stopped to look at it. They have it proudly sitting on PCH on the corner of the lot. They probably want a fortune for it.

I'm sure you could find it on there web site.

Hi Terry,

The G-Wagen (W460) was first introduced for the 1979 model year, so if the vehicle you mention for sale is a 1973, then it would not be a true G-Wagen.

The only one I'm seeing on their web site is a 2013 model. They are asking $75K for that one.

Appears they also have a 2016 G63 AMG, but they are asking $130K for it.

I guess I can't read from the street at 50 mph. I have passed it at least 20 times. It looked like 73. I mistook the 1 for a 7.

Well it's at least a G-Wagon albeit probably not any kind of bargin.
