I have found a few more and supposedly Onkel is sending more this summer. PM if you are in New England as I won't send them charged up so pick-up only. Well, I could send them charged but they might be confiscated if discovered; or you want to pay a hazardous material manifest for the shipping, which is kinda big $$s.

Choice of new carpets in gray and tan, but I only have used black ones (like a dark gray actually) .

BTW, this pic is a good illustration of a crème-beige interior with the parchment mats...you can see the obvious difference.

I have two friends with 500Es both wanting to run the dual set up as we have in our cars. So I'm interested in four extinguishers. I have a friend in NH so perhaps he can get them for me....I strongly prefer charged units. Are these the actual 1.3 kg halon or the 1.3kg ABC units?

FYI. Halon units are 2.0kg and relatively rare, and I'm not sure if they are more desirable than the 1.3kg units. Period-correct would be 1.3kg and these are more difficult to obtain than the newer 1.0kg units. The 1.0kg units are easier to get, but do not have the fancy carpet trim. Make sure you can get the units charged locally, this may or may not be easy where you live.

Jimbo, I assume your kits include the buckets/carpet/strap, but do you also include the metal bracket that screws to the seat?

The 2.0 kg extinguishers were only halon and were period for the w201 cars, I have these for my 2.3-16

They made the 1.3kg in both halon and the ABC format.

Oh geez, I just realized these come uncharged. Uhm, sorry, I don't want to deal with that. However, if it's possible, I'd be interested in carpet and brackets for a tan color.

Never seen a Halon 1.3kg extinguisher either. All the ones I have seen pulled from w124's were ABC.

BTW, you can easily ship these filled, there are no checks/scans of packages if using USPS. I would suggest you ship Parcel Select, which is ground only service. That avoids any potential problems with the airline. Secure the handles (if not already secured with the original wire) so there is no chance of a accidental discharge.
