Hi all,

Cleaved this from another thread:

1x H4 bulb for European headlight
1x H3 bulb for foglight / driving light
1x 21w bulb for brake light, backup light, or rear turn signal
1x P21/5w bulb for front turn signal / marker light
1x 10w bulb for rear tail / marker light
1x 36mm festoon bulb for puddle lights / license plate
1x 42mm festoon bulb for front / rear roof light
1x 5w bayonet bulb for front / rear reading light
1x W3W bulb for instrument cluster
2x 2721 mini wedge bulb for air vents, ashtray, and miscellaneous interior

On searching the board I cant find a comprehensive list of spare bulbs. Can anyone suggest bulbs that might be missing from above? I will then keep this list updated for anyone looking in the future.

Basically I am trying to build up a kit of spare bulbs and fuses for my cars. I have ordered more coming from Ebay including H3, H4 & H7s to do all my cars.

If you go to a local gas station or auto parts store you will generally find no name brand bulbs at above average prices. By being smart and buying Osram, Lucas or Ring bulbs on ebay in advance you can get much better prices and save unnecessary trips to get a bulb when you need it.

Yep, but it looks like the images need to be updated, as they got lost in the translation to the new forum.

Probably would be a good idea to transition any listing over to that data source.

Thanks Gerry - I tried many different search terms and this did not appear. Maybe this thread wont do any harm to have and I have some additional notes to make which I will add to the #1 post soon.

It does not appear that the Wiki results are being search-indexed. I'll talk to the Wiki developer about this, as they should be. However it could be a feature that is not yet implemented.

That said, it is always a good idea to check the Wiki for lists of key things, such as production data and color/interior combinations, NDA parts, vacuum pods, CAN computer variants, and yes ... bulbs.

You should make the edits not to the post #1, but to the Wiki entry. Add a column if you need to. That's the beauty of it - it's 100% editable by anyone to do what they want with it. Wikis are by nature, crowdsourced information.

The wiki should be used as an information source for data that is of broad interest to everyone, which can be changed and edited as needed. The forums should be used really more for discussion and banter. The Wiki should be considered a "reference of record" for things. I wish more people would use the Wiki. Yes I have some work to do on organizing it better (or someone can volunteer to do this), but there is a lot of good information in there and it doesn't get the credit it deserves.

Rule of thumb:
Forum = discussion
Wiki = reference

For those with the ability to do so, liberate those bulbs from the pick n' pull cadavers you are already picking away at. Any European manufactured car should have what you need. Retail price for bulbs or shipping? BAH!

I think I've amassed a lifetime supply for my needs.

I can probably provide individual pictures for the Wiki if need be.

I intend to make a new post for the Wiki if I am permitted! I dont think its very intuitive they way it is listed currently. Eg doesn't say H4 bulb but gives 3x cross references that no auto part store will readily recognize.

And there is no mention of the clear VS amber bulbs with the different pin locations.....

Basically I intend to create a full, nice clean list of 124 bulbs in a few days time and attach photos of them.
