I have to say that it is very good. A bottle of synthetic engine oil leaked in my trunk after it being crushed by some heavy weight stuff I was transporting. The oil then leaked to a pair of tennis shoes I had in the trunk. I washed the shoes many times. Nope. I sprayed it with starting fluid and then put them in a bucket of water mixed with strong dishwasher detergent for many days. Washed them again. Dried them under the sun. And washed and scrubbed, again, and again.
It still smells oil and my hands became oily for touching them.
The synthetic oil simply won't break down with any detergent or solvent I threw at it.
Finally, I threw them away. Sorry, Earth as they still have good treads and can last for a few more months of heavy playing.
A funny way to realize how good synthetic engine oil is. I forgot the brand, probably Shell or Mobil.
