How to loose over $10 million in Japan

Meh, 9 less cars for people who have too much money but too little brains....

Glad no one was hurt, though. (also: no picture or movie mentions the Mercs?)
 
In all the pics of this floating around on the web, I only see about $2M worth of damaged cars...where's the other $8M???
 
If all of the cars are totaled, that's right around $10 mil, or so.
I'm just not seeing it. Each of the 11 cars would have to be valued near $1M apiece. From all the pics I've seen, none of them are million $ cars. They all appear to be garden variety street versions of MB, Ferrari and Lambo valued closer to about $100-200K apiece.
