Intake manifold bolts M119

Does anyone have the part# for the intake manifold bolts for M119. Specifically, I need the two bolts on the front of the intake near the temperature sensors. The mechanic working on my 500E last year installed hex head bolts and as a result antifreeze is leaking. I am assuming that the correct bolts must seat in a way that they create a seal. Thanks.

N000912008108 2pcs( these two are also in the front end of the manifold.but unsure of which ones you are talking about)

N000000001448 4pcs

N000912008204 8 pcs

N000912008081 2 pcs

N000912008067 2 pcs

N914020008003 2pcs( these are the ones in front end of the manifold...as far as i can see on the EPC)

N000137008212 14 pcs (washers)

IMG_4608.JPGAttached is a picture that may help. The machine bolt head to the right of the temperature sensor is the one I need.

both of those bolts in the picture is the "wrong" bolt...
its supposed to have two hex bolts in the place where you have to "standard" bolts

Yes, I am trying to identify the part number so I can order the correct bolts and replace the ones installed by the mechanic. The correct bolt should be one of the two that you noted in your earlier reply.

for me at least..EPC makes its hard to see which one of the two goes in front of the manifold....both bolts are "up front"..and both bolts are only 2 pcs...so..it can be any of them.

When I ordered new bolts for my manifold, two of them were standard headed bolts. I believe, from memory, it was the two that hold the ignition wire ducts down.

Thank you both for the input. I will work with the numbers from the EPC and see if I can narrow it down. Thanks again.

oh...yeah maybe theyve changed it up...but they are supposed to be all hex...abit weird having the standard bolts there..because of the narrow space around the bolt...the plastic of the ignition wiring duct is stickin upwards on the side of the bolt..

Many bolts have been superceded to different part numbers, and may have different heads. MOST of the time, the replacement bolt is functionally equivalent and will work fine. However I've seen a couple of supercessions where the replacement bolt did not work for various reasons, so be careful if the p/n you order changes to something else.

Example: 914020-008003 (and a couple other bolts) appear to supercede to 000000-001448:

and even sometimes they change it up for something better....for an example..i just ordered fasteners for the new handbrake wires ive bought...originally they are fastened with "standard" bolts..but the new type bolts where hex bolts..which is definetly better suited...for the same reason like in the example above...because of the narrow space around the bolt head...hex is better both on both handbrake cable bracket..and in the "intake manifold" bolt question. :)

This is good information. Thanks for all of the advice. I think I will be able to identify the right bolt.

I found some intake bolts for my Midnight Blue ‘92 500E I had in my garage for the future which I purchased last year.

Just to clarify bolt types;
Hex head on the first image
Socket hex head (cap) on the next image

I'm not sure if this applies to all M119 engines but at least on the 119.980 I ended up snapping a bolt (yes it had to be the very last one in the least convenient spot towards the rear of the manifold) that I could not find.
N914020008003 (superseded by N000000001448) seems to be discontinued and replaced by N000000002192. These do not come with a washer (N000137008212 washer still fits) and are torx. Hoping this helps someone one day.

It's pretty common in recent years where MB has superseded bolts that were originally hex, with either Torx bolts, or with hex bolts of visibly shittier quality than the original nicely finished bolts.
