Interesting interior consoles?

It's a center console from a W124 taxi. Neat way of adding a double-din unit to the car, but that early Comand unit would not be my first choice. You lose the ashtray too.
I really like the double-din solution. Gets rid of the useless ashtray. I like how they re-located the heat seater switches. I can get an Apple Car Play unit in, but wrong spot ergonomically, will get into a crash looking at the dam thing down low.
Where do I get one? How much? Have to time travel back to the late 90s?

If you have this console you can mount a double DIN or COMAND system in your 124. Hard to find! Part is excellent used condition.

hi, anybody tryed to instal a R129 center console in to W124? i have seen brabus did something like that but cant find any info on that
