Question about leather interior

I am having a tough time telling what is leather and what is vinyl. I know the door cards, seat bottoms and backs are leather. Are the sides of the seats, head rest and center arm rest leather ? Thanks for the help

All parts of the seats (except the covering on the hard seat back) should be leather. The elasticated pouch on the seat back should also be leather. As far as i know, the door sills (between the bottom of the door glass and the door cards), the door armrests and lower doors/pockets, plus the top of the front dash (between the bottom of the front screen and the instrument panel), are vinyl.

I'll stand corrected!

Confirming @r44raven's post. Seats are 100% leather on all surfaces (including the headrest), and the door cards are vinyl/MB Tex. The removable front seat-back panels (which the leather seat-back pockets attach to) I believe are not covered in leather. For later cars, the center front seat armrest/telephone compartment should also be covered in pebbled grain leather, I believe.

I am not sure what the center armrest on the earlier cars (which is a wide cushioned pillow that folds up and down) is covered with, but I believe it is also leather.

I can confirm that the (non-telephone) armrest on my 1993 500e is definitely leather - top, bottom and sides.

About the removable front seat back panels, I'm not sure what the covering is. When I was carrying out a deep clean of the interior - assuming (incorrectly) the covering was leather, I used a special leather cleaner on it - and the surface material melted! My only recourse was to source a complete replacement!
