B pillar interior wrap coming loose

My gray interior pillar wraps on both sides are pulling out from the vertical band that was holding them .
Appreciate any and all ideas on how to get them back in place .
Thanks.

I just had mine glued back. Not sure how long it will last as some of the material shrunk back over the years. B pillars need to be removed.

This is a PITA job to do, but one that every long-term owner will have to deal with, sooner or later.

You have to remove the tall vertical cover that attaches to the inside of the B-pillar, so that the interior MB-Tex can be removed, the pillar cover lightly sanded, and then new glue sprayed on and the trim re-applied. Removing the vertical cover requires removal of the seatbelt/anchor. It's not a difficult job, just a PITA.

For glue, I highly recommend 3M 8090 Super Trim Adhesive. Light coat only. It's the same stuff that works well (with a heavier coat) for hood pads.

What glue was used?
Who did it for you?
What do you mean B pillers need to be removed?
Thanks for the input.
For the glue, what Gerry suggested. The B pillar trim cover needs to be removed to do the job. Its simple to remove, Just the nut that holds the bottom of the seatbelt and two phillips screws to remove the cover at the bottom of the B pillar trim. You can then slide the cover out of the car.

Pretty much all my 124's need the B-pillar upholstery glued / reattached.

Some have excessive shrinkage of the Tex. I'm not sure there's enough to wrap properly around the edges. Just curious, has anyone replaced the old Tex with new stuff? Or do you just work with what's left of the original, and hope for the best?
