SOLD Leading edge hood rubbers

One pair of leading-edge hood seals. 3 of 6 mounting tabs broken on each piece as shown. Generic automotive "rivets", or one of a multitude available from MB can be used to fasten these areas. Otherwise, the rubber is soft, flexible, and without cracks. NLA. Good replacements for pieces that are dried or cracked.

These are the correct V8 pieces as discussed recently, from my own 036.

$100.00 shipped. No overseas shipping, sorry.

Tim will have first refusal on these due to his inquiry.

They did not. I have received no inquiries. Today I will add photos with inserts I've added in place of the broken tabs, which will allow factory-like installation.

Pictures showing modified mounting to follow.

The rivets are genuine Mercedes, trimmed to square. For the deeper end fastener, a generic rivet and hardware bushing was used due to the way one OEM clip broke.

Drew, also add the MB part numbers, which will help people find this listing when searching by part number.

I stand ready for lashings, having removed these without proper care. Please make it quick, as they were not NLA at the time.
It happens to the best of us. I ended up breaking one of the clips on the set that I most recently got, despite taking a fair bit of care. Still 100% functional, but a disappointment nonetheless.
