If one wants to show a car in the Concourse section, how much can one veer off from stock oem?

I have heard purist gag when talking about putting AMG rims on a non-amg car.

I personally don't mind a little individuality.

The only class our E500E's fit into is the modified class because they are not old enough to be classics. If you are looking to show a classic it will lose points if the judge recognizes the modification. The interesting thing is that originality does not necessarily mean higher points. An old original paint job will not score as high as a high quality re-paint.

Thanks.
I was actually wondering how a 1993 Sportline Limited Edition with a 190e 16V body kit would be accepted?

It would but it would be in the modified class and all cars in the modified class will be competing against Eric's car this year. However, last year an ugly SLK took the prize against Jeff's Brabus and RENNtech AMG W210's!!!

:wtf:
