If you've never done it at LRP, their 'auto-x' track is more like a mini-road course; about 1/2 mile long in total. I was getting up upwards of 55 mph on it (in a CLK Black Series tho) a few years back. Each lap is under 1 minute so figure you'll get alot of laps in one day. It's not unlike a Solo I course from SCCA either, anyway; it's fast. Def not as inexpensive as most auto-xes (at least in New England) which are usually $25-50/day depending on which club is doing it...this one is $225. But I just spent $225+ caps and rotors LOL. No biggy.
That all said, anyone want to make a day of it with their E500E? I can most likely do the April and June dates no problem and take my car out of retirement (the last track event for it was in 2008 before the RS6 came to town) . Pretty sure there will be professional photogs there too so there's memories of the fun that was had. Would be sweet to have a few .036s togehter for something like this.
I do have a birds-eye view of the auto-x track...I'll locate and post asap.
