Lots of New and Used OE Parts for Sale - 1995 E420

I can't really believe that I'm doing this. It's with a heavy heart that I write this ad. If you've been following my owners post, you'll know that my car was hit when parked a few weeks back and that it's been totaled by the insurance company. I was really conflicted about whether I should repair it or not, but with the cost of repair in conjunction with some other costly things that still need to happen (Steering gearbox, smog pump, Monovalve) I've decided to move on.

Most of the parts listed below are brand new and never installed. Almost all of them are OE Mercedes parts purchased in the last year from mboemparts.com (Naperville). Some of the parts have been purchased from board members (Captnruff/poormans500e) and were either new or very lightly used. Anyhow, it's all good stuff. Note that I listed the Naperville price next to each item...and then my price below. I'd prefer to sell the smaller stuff in lots. I bought these items hoping to do some of the repairs found in the how to section here.

Do you have the driver side air collector that attaches to the front bumper and directs air to the motor mount via a plastic pipe? Looking for both the pipe and the collector.

FYI - the E500E part which goes against the bumper is unique for the 036, the E420/400E air collectors are not the same. The long/rigid air pipes which connect to the frame rail are the same though.

Just wanting to bump this. I updated the original post since some of the items have been sold. Still lots of good OE parts for sale if you're looking to do the repairs they're associate with. Coil Packs, Oil Sender Stuff, Light Bulbs and MAF sold today...updated post. Front sway bar and bushings, FPR and Suspension Stuff still available.

I do have a few other parts that may be of interest for the 400E/E420 guys out there...probably better off selling on ebay, but though I'd see if there was any interest here.

I have a NON ASR gauge cluster (PN 124 440 05 11) in near perfect shape with just under 148k on it. Plastic is not faded brown as some clusters are, Plexiglas is in great shape (used polish to removed some staining...a few spots barely visible), not dust, lint inside the cluster. Everything works...including temp sensor. Only flaw that I see is a small scratch on the side where the coathanger tool I used slipped when pulling it. $100 shipped obo

I also have a NON UPDATED NON ASR ETA. This was working perfectly fine when I pulled it...I just replaced it preemptively when Captruff offered up an updated one for sale. Not sure if there's value here for someone who wants to rewire it...or try their luck. Not sure how the wiring looks since it's still wrapped. Date code is pictured below. Feel crazy for offering it for so much, but I've seen them selling for more on Ebay...so forgive me if this seems outrageous. [Admin edit: This ETA will not work on an E500E.]

I also have a cheap Taiwanese (ebay special) spring compressor that I'm going to place back on ebay. Will sell for $60 shipped if someone wants it. The openings in the plates are closed (not open like the SUPER sketchy ones).

Absolutely. Down to the last few bits. Test drove a one owner 2005 e55 with 65k miles at MB Seattle today. Beautiful car and insane power that just didn't end. However, it made me miss my e420. There's something special about the W124 and while amazing in its own way, the E55 just didn't grab me like the e420. Need to get my hands on a 500 one day.

It used to be on the top of my list too, after a 3 day test drive I jumped back in my c43 AMG 1999 and realized I didn't need all the e55 power and spent most of my time monitoring my foot and speed to not get a ticket or feel like I was risking life and limb to experience the full throttle rush
The c43 satisfied me and not I have a 560sec which by no means is a rocket off the line but pulls like a freight train and has build quality in line w your w124 I imagine. Great cars
