Lower Windshield Seal Part Number

When I bought this car, there was some buckling on the lower seal of the windshield. I believe the part is sold by the meter from MB but want to confirm the part number.

Also, is this a user serviceable part or something I need to take to a windshield specialist? I’m thinking the former but don’t want to find myself in a “too bad you bent that as it is NLA” situation.

Robert, is this a 1992-1993 model?

If so, the thin rubber piece is #35 in the EPC screenshot below.

Thanks Dave. 1992. The part I found was A0019872460. Is this something I can do?

Yup! The trim pieces carefully pry off on each side. Then you replace the thin rubber piece.

Alternately, you can just buy complete new trim sections, which include the new rubber piece pre-installed. The entire trims were not terribly expensive last I checked, but if your existing ones are in really nice shape that would be overkill.
