The last time my car was on a dealers lift was in the last century !! I'm happy to report a clean bill this time around (not that I was worried).


Henry's newly restored 57' 190 SL ( his former 94' E500 with 26K was fodder for us a few years back when it was for sale)

Thanx JelmerBaas...honestly, it wasn't my first choice of colors but I'm glad I did get it; I totally love it now. It was actually the same color as the New York Auto Show's debut of the 500E in 1992. I did originally want another smoke silver car...I liked it alot on my 92' 190E 2.6.

Drew, the tires are the standard 245/45s...Sumitomo HTRZIIs. I might go to 265/40s next, plenty of room under the fenders for more width with the EvoIIs.

AND a sleeping child! And I thought I was the only one with a baby seat in my 500E!

Colors seem to be a difficult subject. When I saw my smoke silver pics I thought it looked boring and mundane. Then I saw it and I liked it. Now that I have it for a year, I wouldn't trade it in for another color. Guess you have the same - maybe except initial "boring" feeling

Would you mind posting some pictures of the interior, as well? I love the light leather colors.

Butofcourse...Mein kleiner Engel. And people say the H&R springs in a 500E are too harsh... she doesn't think so.

Here's the wee man a few years ago, in the RS6 before my present one that has silver seats and walnut wood. He likes it up front.
