MBUSA HQ Possibly moving to Atlanta

I think Klink has already had a couple of meetings with Stephen Cannon, CEO of MBUSA, on the topic.

Lol, not likely! They fired me once already! We are all still friends, though. I'd have fired me, too...
:klink:

I'd want to be near me too....!!!

...and yes, more interesting meets and LOTS of parts available same day:):):)

Take it easy, everybody! They are talking about corporate HQ. Paper shufflers and bean counters, not parts distribution, not a replica of the Stuttgart test track with free access and thrill rides with development test drivers.

Corporate HQ. Recent college graduates that think a 500E is a current production Fiat, and 6.9 is something from the Kama Sutra...

Yes, just the "administrative" offices. Nothing like what Porsche is building, although my girl who is in fashion says Atlanta is being primed to be added to Mercedes' Fashion Week, too.

That's probably the location where they'll keep all the parts that have had a drastic price reduction but are NLA.....

Klink, did you connect with Stephen yet today?

This has been in the works for some time, so shouldn't be a surprise. It's been an open secret for weeks. I think I asked Klink about it back in early to mid-December.

The current Robbinsville, NJ parts depot (where a lot of my parts are sent from) will remain in operation.

They have actually been talking about it for at least 10 years now, and Atlanta had always figured in and about the rumors. I think that the "Great Recession" put things on hold for a number of years, hence the delays.

LOL, No, but his people were probably talking to my people. You know how it is. I can't micro-manage everything everything...

Yeah, like the 190E-16V limited-slip differential that went from $1300 last year, to $244 this year. Bet that's one of the above items.

:pc1:

 Premature parts-elation... Current PDCs to remain where they are for now. Hand me a paper towel...
