Hi All,

Does anyone have any recommendations of any good mechanics that can work our on our E500Es in the N.C / Raleigh area?

Also, looking to get the car resprayed, so looking for a good body shop as quite alot of the paint work in falling apart in some places.

Cheers,
Matin

Hi Matin, Welcome to America!

I can’t help you with your questions since I'm on the Left/West Coast. Someone local will be able to help. :)

Check out EuroClassics Ltd (if they’re still in business https://www.euroclassicslimited.com/). I bought my M3 from them (Silver over Red convertible) back at the end of 2010. Roshan Gowin (son) runs the shop and his dad has owned several 500E’s, the last of which he wouldn’t sell to me, because “he’d let too many of them slip through his hands.” Great father/son business. Tell Roshan I sent you and said Hello! Roshan will know tradespeople in the area, collision, etc.

As I live in Cary, NC, 30 minutes from Raleigh, I would say that A Better Wrench in Chapel Hill probably is the best in servicing old Mercedes and new. I am interested in finding out a good body shop myself, but not those collision centers working with insurance companies with bloated pricing.
