Yes I do missed the this summer, but I bought it for winter (dicounts) price.
I think this car was original delivered to the Arab world. Maybe this win number tells more about the car?

I am going to pick it up in two weeks in the Netherlands, then take it to Hamburg to joint the S-klasse-club.de 1993 annual meeting there.

Yes the VIN shows the car was originally ordered in Bahrain... which is 4 hours drive from Q8 !
But the VIN I see says color is 582 Imperial Red ! someone please double check.

Here is what the seller informed me about the paint of this car:
"Dear Mr Nguyen,
That’s correct, but don’t worry; the history of the car is crystal clear. The car was a lotteryprice in the Arabic Emirates; the car was immediately shipped to Holland and the owner had it resprayed in DB 375 Atollblau beim Mercedes-Benz van Kooy for 9400,- (see attachment) and they did a very good job.
The maintenance booklet has been stamped by the Mercedes dealer every service; I can sent you a scan all the servicerecords of it if you like. "
The big question is whether I will able to sell the car at all later with this change of paint?
I got this car with a special discount price and I still have couple of days to make up my mind whether to seal the deal or not.
