Need advice on gray sheepskin seat covers

I would like to buy a pair of gray sheepskin seat covers to blend in with my interior. Why?

1) I have relatively new leather from German Auto Tops, and I would like to protect it from dirt and sun.

2) My understanding is that sheepskin covers are cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

The only problem I have is there seem to be a hundred places online selling sheepskin automotive seat covers, all claiming to use the highest quality sheepskins, etc. I received a sampling of covers from a place called Ramshead, which someone here on the forum had recommended. Does anyone know of any other very good companies for this?

All opinions welcome. Thanks very much.

I don't know if they are still available, but the Mercedes sheepskins were very nice and high quality. One thing I would pay close attention to is the lining. If they're cheap ones they won't be lined or they'll have very inexpensive lining. This is what actually contacts you leather, and if it's poor quality will cause it to wear even though you've got a sheepskin on it.

Thanks, Dan. I have seen no Mercedes sheepskins for the 124/500E.
