Seat base plates???

Do we need 4 per seat or only the rear bolts

I think it's 2 per seat (at the rear bolts), 4 total per car...? Not 100% certain.

Can confirm, 2 per rear bolts per side. 4 total.

Are these even needed? I could never get them to look/sit right.

Considering there is a plastic covering on the front, and the back is out of sight due to the seat when reclined, I never installed mine after installing my replacement carpet.

I had to fit them on rear of the driver's seat to raise the height of the seat slightly - to stop the seat base fouling the carpet on the transmission tunnel when it was at its most rearward position.
If i recall correctly, I used 2 under each bolt?
