So close to the complete set, but the seller just posted that the last 2 items in the parts list are not available / not included.

This would fit my 400E rebuild so nicely along with 5.0L engine that I have an eye on :jono:.
My mind is telling me YESS, but my budget is telling me big NO.
:runexe:
Going to keep my car OEM, will I like it or not, but really impressive collection. I wonder how much will it be sold for.

At the risk of ridicule, I confess I would love to have a E500E with pedestrian 124 fenders, bumpers, etc, appropriately wheeled and tired, with the removed extroverted pieces/parts to sell to someone who wanted to go the other way.
Much, much easier to start with an 034 and upgrade to a 5.0L engine+diff, and 500E (basically 034 Sportline) suspension. The only other significant mechanical difference would be SLS. Extroverted Sport interior optional.

:jono:

One of Johnathan's 124 guru techs had just that car years ago. I regret I did not accept a very cheap price for the car.
Man, I was just talking to @550Maranello about 500E (and other car regrets). Something about these escalating values must be bringing it out of folks. Cars you could have snagged for $15k a decade ago you cannot now touch for triple that. I’m actually on the winning side of that equation. But for some, the car prices and values they remember are like ghosts, and the regret sets in.

It’s the one place where the Fed’s increasing interest rates (and quantitive reduction) actually will fight inflation (actually the second — real estate is the other). It just won’t show up in the core CPI, but I digress.

WOW - that's quite a package!! :wow:
The long gone rear bumper splash shields/inserts are missing as well:
124-885-15-23 left
124-885-16-23 right
I've copied the list and fill in the missing parts, headligths, viper assemblies etc... to have as a drool trigger.:drool5:

I totally agree with this including fitting steelies and a 200D badge 😎

You know how so many people convert Toyota MR2s to Ferrari body kits - I'd love to convert a Ferrari to an MR2 instead. Never let them know your next move k.

Wish it were me! I wouldn't want to ship that stuff, and it would be a loooong road trip in a truck or towing a trailer. Surprised @jhodg5ck wasn't bidding (or winning!).

:spend:
