FOR SALE NOS Limited interior badge up for swap with an early Sportline steering wheel

Here is an unicorn!
I have a NOS never installed Limited interior badge I like to offer as a swap for an early Ø390mm Sportline steering wheel in good condition. I have never managed to find a part number on it, and the original packing was missing when I bought it 10++ years ago. I had the same badge on the mid console in my exLimited, as shown in the last image.

Jonathan, I am in the process of buying that steering wheel posted by Tim. But the seller has to show me the Ø390 stamping inside before I pull the trigger.

Anyway, I will never acquire a Limited again so that badge is available. Preferably I like to do a swap +/- cash one or the other way depending on what the other part is. Due to the "NLA syndrome" enthusiastically driven by MB I am working hard now to collect various parts missing on my SuperMerc from when I got it. So feel free to pick any parts from this list for a swap:
- engine bay under shield/plate
- front inner fenders, both sides
- headlight buckets/housings sitting in the chassis, both sides
- complete headlight wiper assemblies, both sides
- complete engine mount cooling ducts, both sides
- plastic shields between engine bay and wheel houses, both sides

Additionally I've been collecting a set of Birds Eye Maple trim for years and I am now missing the four lists running across the dashboard.

BTW, I do also have some other special parts I can offer as a swap, I'll come back on that later on.

No. It was delivered together with leather pouch and so on. Only if 1 owner requested it was than installed.

Arkady - I offered to swap the badge for a st.wheel in case someone had one available, but +/- cash one or the another way depending on the conditioin of the st.wheel. I have now purchased the refurbished st.wheel posted by @TimL in post #2, it arrives in a few days.

I don't know the value on this badge, all I know is that it's NLA and very rare. If somone find the source and come back and say "Hey - this badge is worth only 50 Euro!" well, then it be that. So as mentioned in post #6 I am still open for a swap with something from my listed items if possible, and +/- cash depending on what it is. This is a nice item and I really hope it ends up inside or with a Limited at some point.

I just acquired one of these badges. Am I right in assuming there is no official ‘factory’ place to fix the badge or should it be in the center console as pictured above? I’ve seen it over the years in that centre console position so thought a few cars might have been delivered with it installed there.

Yes, correct. First owner had a choice to put it anywhere he likes. Or not

Here is one with that Limited badge on the trunk lid. I think it's the only one I've ever seen.
