NSS tied to no start, no windows, no sunroof, no turn signals, no outside temperature???

This is the situation I found my self in outside of a local store. Running the gear selector through the ranges did let me get started. But does NSS control all of that? Looking at S13/1 and the ATA it's not clear to me how S13/1 would impact the rest.

Sorry I should have been more specific, does ATA also tie into windows. It's very odd that these all failed at the same time and then magically started working.

I'm lacking in electrical knowledge, but it seems to me the items you listed, excepting the no start, would be routed thru the convenience module and the no start may also be tied to the alarm system which could also be routed thru the same. Failures of the convenience module typically can be intermittent.

Last night, no turn signals again. I was stopped at a red-light and cycled the key and the car did not start. Still no start again next day. Tried cycling the gear selector and still no luck. Swapped out LH module.as well. Cars been fine since last incident and I did nothing other than let it sit over night and it self healed.

"No start" means the starter cranks but the engine doesn't fire, correct?

And this only happens with a warm/hot engine, and it starts again when cold?

Sounds like a failing CKP (crank position sensor). Next time it gets hot and dies, measure CKP resistance. Normal is 800-1000 ohms. When it won't start, if it measures thousands of ohms (or open), the CKP is bad.

No solenoid engagement or anything. Windows are working this time, still no turn signal or OAT. CKP replaced by PO.

Starter not engaging is a completely different issue than cranking but engine not firing.

If the starter won't engage you could have a bad starter or ignition switch.

Ignition replaced last year. Im pretty sure it's something upstream because of the turn signals and OAT and no start all at the same time.

whack the starter with something hard enough to wake it up. While not the best thing, your solenoid may be going. If car starts after a pop with a wrench then you might need a rebuilt. The CKP sensor may have been Trucktek or URO brand....

Pulled codes, had a variety that let me think it might be the base module. Can confirm it's not base, LH, TLLR and convenience module. Basically all the easy stuff that doesn't require yoga. Saturday I'll check the starter wiring and NSS (no start in N either but).

Problem solved! After reading a variety of no crank threads I read one where a guy mentioned fuse 5 which made no sense. However after looking at the ATA diagram, which is monsterously and sinister. I decided to check the fuses. All good. However, for sng I rolled them all a bit and sure enough car starts and turnsignals works! If you look at the ATA diagram, it connects to a bizarre amount of electronics.

I decided to check the fuses. All good. However, for sng I rolled them all a bit and sure enough car starts and turnsignals works! what do you mean...was it all good AFTER replacing a blown fuse nr 5...or ?

I'm reading it as the fuse was "tested" and was electrically ok but rotating it made it connect to the car correctly and the issue was resolved.

The dissimilar metal corrosion. Always a good Idea as part of annual MX to give each fuse a rotate in its cradle, rock all the relays down at a minimum in the fuse box (I remove-replace) and remove and replace the can box modules.

Yes, sorry all the fuses were good, it was just a dirty connection.
