I think this is a beautiful resto-mod. I have been fascinated with car design from an early age(my father was a clay modeler for crysler) and tend to be nostalgic for earlier styles. Unlike the 300sl recreation that came out earlier, this one stays close to the original design. Very nice work.
I have to agree that the wheels and lack of useable suspension make this a questionable exercise, but the rest is quite tasty. Perhaps that person should have been given the design job for the new (and truely grotesque) SLS "lange nase".
This car was not pretty to begin with but the work done on it is great.I think most Benzes are not pretty anyway A few are handsome especially 126 124 123.As for the new ones, even the SLS.........
