Hey, everyone! Long time lurker here on this forum and previous 500E forums. Just wanted to share some photos of our family 500E that we've had for the last ~15 years. Just installed the wheels this weekend.

FYI:

1) The rear ride height looks near perfect to me. You'll need to fiddle with the SLS adjustment if you want it lower, AND you may also need to either use a thinner spring pad, or get shorter springs, or cut a 1/4 to 1/2 coil off the stock rear springs. Be careful here.

2) 500E Euro headlights are no longer available new, well one side is NLA and the other is probably going to be NLA soon. You can still buy new E500 Euro lights and a pair of 500E Euro lenses and "build" a set of correct lights for your car. All this stuff has to be sourced from Europe (speed-autoteile.com will ship here) and it will probably cost ~$1200 or so. You can sell the leftover E500 lenses to recoup some $$$.

Thanks for the advice on the suspension. Most of that rings a bell in my head, as I've not dealt with the 500E and SLS in quite some time (been accustomed to modifying BMWs for the last decade or so).

As for the 500E Euro headlights, thanks again. But I've already been in contact with Sir Thomas Hanson from the Classic Center and snagged one of the last pairs available.

See? Told you I was a lurker ;)
