Hello 500EBoard -
I thought I would officially register my car in this section. I am located in the Boston area and am the 3rd owner of the car as of June 2011 - my uncle was the 2nd owner of the car for the bulk of its existence from October 1994 until I bought it from him.
The car is completely stock and original:

*Just under 82,000
My uncle was in an accident in the late 90's - here is an account from my uncle:
"The wreck occurred as best I can recall in the late 90's. I was hit in the left rear panel and thrown into a small tree. Extensive sheet metal damage, no damage to frame, suspension or engine. Repaired and painted by our local MB dealer, who did an excellent job. "
The car has been maintained at MB dealerships for the majority of its life (w/ the exception of the oil change I had done this spring) - the wiring harness has not been done yet. (I've attached a summary of the maintenance from '98 to present based on the carfax.)
Also - you'll notice that I have a 500E. The dealer scratched the trunk hood during a service visit and subsequently repainted - when they put the badge back on they turned the car from a E500 to a 500E.
