Hello!

My name is Jose and I am new member in this Forum. Iam 40 :-o years old and Iam born and live in Germany close to Frankfurt am Main. My parents came to germany in the early 1970 years and my father use to drive W116, W126 and W140. So I am "infected" since I can remember from the Mercedes virus :agree:. With the age of 19 I bought my first car.....and it was not a Mercedes but a Porsche 944S2. My father was shocked but at least he recovered quite fast from his shock :-D. My second car was a VW Beetle from 1974. Since I sold the Beetle most likely 20 years ago I use to drive Mercedes. Currently I own a R129 from 1996 with M119. In addition, I have a W210 from 1997 with M113 as daily driver and last but not least I have a W208 with M111 for my girlfriend :nobmw:

Usually I am present in the R129 forums in Germany but the knowledge and the dedication to the M119 makes the members in this forum very interesting. I hope I can learn a lot of new things since the kinship between R129 and W124 is quite large.

cheers
José

Welcome Jose,

Your 129 is a great car but if you stick around here very long you will soon be driving an E500E.

Your Mercedes enthusiasm is what we like to see on this forum. Yeah, an E500E will be your next car.

You will see the light.

Take Care

HiRaffaelli!

Sure. Enjoy :)

Nice clean looking car you have José,

By all means, if interesting information pops up on the german board- please post links. We are always interested in the 6.0, 6.2, 6.5 tuned versions of the M119's. They are more common over in the Fatherland.

M
